Review: Etude House Soft Drink Tint in PK001 (Peach Toktoktok)

I found this Etude House Soft Drink Tint when I was browsing through local online store in search for their Dear Darling Water Gel Tints, and decided to purchase this instead, cause I'm a sucker to cute packaging. I'm not quite sure when this line was launched but I believe it's part of their latest summer collection.

There are five shades available as you can see in the picture above and they are Zero Red which is warm red, Peach Tok Tok Tok which is a bright cool-toned pink, Grapeful Fantasy which is warmer pink, Great Grape which is a light purple, and Milky Soda which is actually a lip gloss with a sheer pink color and a little sparkle dust.

Etude House Soft Drink Tint comes with a carton box with the color that matches the applicable shade inside. The box shape is quite similar to a mini vending machine. All the information you need to know is written on it except for the ingredient list. Inside you'll find the bottle (which is very similar to a soda bottle) made of a very strong transparent plastic (or glass imitation?) with a cap which also matches the applicable shade. Since I bought the shade Peach Toktoktok, which is a bright pink, they're all decorated with bursts of neon pink. Each lip tint has net weight of 0.16 oz. or 4.6 g.

These products are also available in the set of four that comes with an adorable bigger vending machine packaging, unfortunately the set does not include Great Grape in it.

The applicator is strangled under the cap when you swirl it open and, despite its short wand, the tip is quite long and more slanted than regular lip tint/lip cream, and is great for optimum blending. There's also an extra 'click' whenever you close the cap for extra protection.

PEACH TOKTOKTOK is a bright warm-toned pink, but it still looks natural. The color is build-able and it can be blended easily onto my lips despite it's light colored lip tint. This color will leave that soft pink stain after you blot it.

This lip tint has a watery gel formula that will dry your lips just like any other water based lip tint. But since it's basically a 'tint', I can easily top it off with lip balm without removing the color. This product also have that sweet taste, just like most lip tint has, which is very annoying for me, especially when they started to get inside my mouth. Or maybe the sweet taste is used to anticipate this?

I prefer adjusting the liquid at the tip of the bottle before applying it onto my lips, therefore it makes the application a lot easier. After that, blot it with your finger with light hand to set it down completely, and decide whether you want to use it gradient or full.

This lip tint, however, is not proof to eating or drinking, even once. The aftermath will be that annoying thing where it clumps on the inside of your lips, but since this is a light color so the effect is not very prominent. 

Overall this is my new favorite lip tint, especially for this color. The shade is pretty, blended evenly, and it's ultra cute. I don't really mind if it's not long lasting. I bought this at local online store for IDR 70.000 (4.6 gr). I'm not quite sure if you can find this at Indonesian official counters yet.
