Review: Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint Pack (Sexy Red, Bubble Pink, Virgin Red, Pure Pink, Vivid Scarlet, Lovely Peach)

It seems that lip tattoo has become a trend nowadays. Although I'd prefer to wear matte lipstick, but I don't mind trying out new things. The only eligible brand I know that launch such product is Berrisom (please corrct me if I'm wrong) and I feel so lucky to have such a generous online store sending all six shades to me for review purpose. 

Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint Pack is basically peel-off lip stain, means you obtain the colors on your lips by applying the product onto your lips and peeling it after several minutes. The set that I got was packed in a black carton box without individual box. Each product itself was infused in a squeeze plastic tubes. No such things as seal was found. The only seal I could find was a tiny silver tape on each tube which can be easily torn. But as long as you find a super clean tube on the inside, you'll now you have a brand new product

THE APPLICATOR has a quite big hole and the its angled surface was meant to make the application process easier.

I really can't read Korean, but at least we know they have 15 grams of products and PAO (Period After Opening) of six months. So it's better to recycle it after that given time.

The directions of use was also printed at the back of the carton box and you'll definitely understand even if you can't read Hangul, but I feel like creating of my own. ^_^

Directions of use:

1. After moisten your lips, apply an appropriate amount of product onto your lips. Make it as neat as possible.
2. Let it dry for about 15 to 20 minutes.
3. Peel it off carefully.
4. And voila! Your lips change color!

THE TEXTURE was some very thick colorful gel. The thicker you apply, the longer it will dry as well as the more stain you'll have. Each of them has that fruity scent depending on each name. What really scares is that they are awfully sour. I didn't intend to taste them, but you will, unintentionally.

APPLYING this product is a bit tricky since the hole on the applicator is quite big. Until now, somehow, I still can't manage to do it neatly. For those who have thin lips will find it harder to apply. Applying this using tools won't give much help since the gel will dry and stuck on your brushes/tools. Also you really need a lot of product to cover your entire lips, so considering each tube has only 15 grams of product, I'm sure these will be quickly discharged.

Another importance notice is that, NEVER ever apply this onto your chapped lips as the peeling off process will be hurt since some of your lips will also be peeled-off. Ugh!

Okay, so before wo move on the swatches on my lips, this is my actual lip color. It's light colored with a small amount darkness around the edges. The result might be different on those with darker or lighter lips.

Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint in SEXY RED

SEXY RED might have the darkest gel color and packaging but once it peeled-off the color changed into some berry pink. It's not quite bold in real life.

VIRGIN RED is a very pretty pure red and the peel-off result is also a very nice bold red, like it's your natural lip color.

BUBBLE PINK is will turn your lips into fuchsia.

PURE PINK might like like peachy orange when wet, but will turn into a nice soft pink once it's peeled-off.

Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint in VIVID SCARLET

 VIVID SCARLET is a dark orange. This color is actually very bold. Just as bold as the Virgin Red.

Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint in LOVELY PEACH

LOVELY PEACH is the lightest color. Your lips will changed color into a light orange, as if you just squeezed an actual orange onto your lips.

Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint is never a lipstick product, it's meant to give just a slight tint on your lips, as if it's your natural lip color. That's why the result are ALWAYS sheer. 

THE LONGEVITY was said to be 12 hours, but it doesn't turn out that way on me. The color vanished just after about 6-8 hours. Of course I also eat during that time. So, the 12 hour longevity might be achieved if you don't eat, drink, nor lick your lips.

THE DRYNESS was also quite bad. I have to add another layer of lip balm afterwards, or else, at the end of the day, I'll find my lips chapped.

So overall, Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint is quite interesting. I used to cringe with the whole peel-off cosmetics concept, but once I try I kinda like it. The only thing that bother me is the 15-minute waiting time and the dryness, but overall I like the result. 

You might consider buying this lo lighten up your actual lip color which are maybe quite dark, maybe you get tired of priming your lips with lip pencil or concealer. This could be another option.

Review: LA Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss in Playful, Bazaar, and Dreamy

This is the second post I write about LA Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss. You can check out the previous one here.

LA Girl is a relatively cheap American cosmetic brand. Their prices ranges below USD 10 and are sold in Indonesia in affordable price too. When the matte lip cream trend is all over the place several years ago (until now!), they also launched this product as well.

LA Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss comes with a clear glass tube with black cap. The size is quite bulky and pretty short unlike similar products. There's nothing special about the packaging anyway.

This product was launched in 16 wearable shades. Just don't be fooled by the color chart below since the original shades are quite different compared to this picture.

The Applicator is long and skinny, not your typical doe-foot applicator, and it's not soft at all. I once hate this type of applicator, but lately I just realized that the pointy tip can be used for outlining my lips. So I guess it's pretty convenient.

The texture is thick liquid. It takes several times to become completely dry. There's a hint of chemical smell on their products which is not very disturbing for me and will eventually fade out. 

Before we began with the swatches, you might wanna see my actual lip color. It's quite pale with some darkness around the edges. The result of each shade might be different, depends on your original lip color.

PLAYFUL

PLAYFUL is a super bright neon pink color, which doesn't compliment my skin tone. The texture is sooo streaky it's hard to blend. The first picture was swiped in one layer, and the second picture was my miserable attempt to add another layer to smooth the surface but ended up like 'that'.

And this picture was another attempt to make this shade more wearable. Turned out adding just one very thin layer on your lips will help a lot to reduce the neon effect. Although in the end, it's still so bright. 

BAZAAR

BAZAAR. I'm not so sure what to call this shade is. A pink, red, or a coral? Or maybe all of those category describe this shade pretty well. This one is a muted warm kinda color that might suit many range of skin tone. The texture is quite smooth and easy to blend.

I several times tried to apply this on several people, but this looks more muted on them and not so bright as when I apply this on my own lips. Maybe just like I described previously, your own lip color does takes the effect.

DREAMY

DREAMY is the shade I'm mostly fond of. It's a nude peachy brown and looks so natural instead of pale. This shade glides very smoothly in just one layer. But I don't know if it's just me, but I feel Dreamy is the most uncomfortable shade I tried so far. It feels the most tacky of all.

So far I have to say that LA Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss is pretty much okay. Of all 5 shades I tried so far, they really vary in terms of texture and comfort. Several reviews I read previously mentioned that the nudes are tend to be more streaky, but this didn't happen to me. I guess you really have to try one product by yourself. Expect for the shade Playful, though. Playful texture is awful.

LA Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss is long lasting, won't transfer but easily removed with makeup remover, a bit sticky, a bit drying, and takes time to dry completely. This product is not one of the best but considering its relatively cheap price, what more you can expect?

I forgot where I bought these. One thing I remember, they came from various online stores. These babies are sold in Indonesia in online stores only for about IDR 60K to 85K. Price may vary.

Kalian pernah denger pembersih wajah Sensibio H20 dari Bioderma? Hmmm, mungkin kalo kurang familiar dengan namanya, kalian mungkin sering melihat produk ini dipajang di beberapa drugstore. Apa sebenarnya Bioderma Sensibio H20 itu dan apa yang membuatnya berbeda dari pembersih wajah pada umumnya?

Well, Bioderma Sensibio H20 adalah salah satu dari beberapa varian yang dimiliki Bioderma. Produk ini berfungsi  untuk membersihkan wajah dari kotoran dan makeup, Yang membuatnya berbeda adalah kandungan Micelle. Produk ini memiliki kandungan yang sama dengan phospolipid pada membran sel kulit manusia, sehingga selain dapat membersihkan juga mampu memberikan rasa nyaman pada kulit. Kalo diterjemahin dengan bahasa yang lebih simpel, produk ini memiliki struktur yang sama dengan komposisi alamai kulit.

Produk ini cocok banget buat kamu yang berkulit sensitif, dan karena diformulasikan khusus untuk kulit sensitif juga, maka pemakaiannya aman banget untuk area di seputar mata dan bibir yang notabene-nya memiliki struktur kulit yang lebih sensitif dari bagian kulit wajah yang lain. Gak akan bikin kering atau cepet keriput, dan di mata pun tidak terasa perih sama sekali.

Satu hal lagi yang agak amazed buat aku, Bioderma Sensibio H20 ini tidak memerlukan bilasan air sesudahnya. Cukup tuang produk secukupnya ke kapas, oleskan ke wajah sampai makeup/kotoran bersih, dan kamu gak perlu lagi bilas dengan air. Wajah gak akan terasa lengket sama sekali. Kebetulan saya udah hampir 1 bulan mencobanya. Hanya saja untuk alasan ketelitian, saya tetap membasuh wajah dengan air dan sabun setelahnya. Takutnya ada bagian muka yang lupa saya seka.

Review: Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in Trap

Oh dear, this is actually another path of my journey in the middle of matte lip stain trial adventure. This is the kind of adventure I really love. LOL. I meant to try on every brand of matte lip stain in every shade they launch, but I just couldn't. My bank account told me so. So here I am, reviewing one shade only of Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip.

For those who haven't heard of this brand, Colourpop is an American cosmetic brand, and they're relatively new on the market. They previously launch their Lippie Stix collection. You can check out my review in the shade Tootsi.

There's nothing special in this department. Just some plastic transparent tube with silver cap and holographic Colourpop logo on one side. It has a white carton box as an extra packaging.

There are about more than 40 shades of Ultra Matte Lips, and varies from super nude to super dark purple. There's nothing too weird though, like green or yellow shade. My shade is Trap, which seemed to be a quite nude greige shade I adore lately. The shade indicator was placed on the bottom part of the tube with a transparent sticker.

Their long doe foot applicator is so soft, makes it easier to apply, as well as gives more comfort when applied onto lips.

There's a hint of chemical odor of the product. Just a bit, though. This product dries quickly and felt very smooth. I don't even need extra effort to smooth the surface, whether it's on the lips or just some rough swatches on my hand. The consistency is just right between liquid and cream. Not too thick nor too light.

The shade Trap is actually a wearable greige kinda color, a mix between grey, brown, and a tiny bit of purple. Well, at least on my lips. If Lime Crime Faded and Cashmere had a baby, then Colourpop Trap is probably be the one. I don't think this would suit people with darker skin tone. But if you're confident with it, so just kill it.

Trap feels very lightweight on my lips. I can still feel a bit of powdery feeling on my lips, but for a liquid matte lip stain, this is pretty comfortable. But as comfortable as it is, it's not very kiss-proof. Well it is kiss-proof, but not really. There's still some of the flakes on the inside of your lips that will stain your coffee cups. Like... flakes on your cups. Eww...

This product also drains your lips, so be prepared by applying some lip balm in advance.

The removing process is not a hard one. I just need to dip a cotton pad on regular makeup remover (just a cheap one, Mustika Ratu), place it onto my lips for several seconds, and wipe it. The surface will turn into (again) small flakes that won't even stain your lips.

Overall, this product is worth to try considering the price which is relatively cheap and their enormous range of colour. There are lots of wearable colours to be used for everyday needs. This product originally cost USD 6 each, and sold in Indonesin online stores for about IDR 120K. Price may varies.
