implora-cheek-and-lip-tint-all-variants-review-esybabsy

Nah, seiring perkembangan jaman, sekarang Implora juga memiliki produk baru berupa Implora Cheek and Lip Tint.

Review: La Tulipe Creamy Lips Color Balm All Shades (Cherry Mojito, Strawberry Mojito, and Coffee Mojito)

reiew-la-tulipe-creamy-lips-color-balm-all-shades-cherry-mojito-strawberry-mojito-coffee-mojito-esybabsy

Review: Wardah Everyday Cheek & Lip Tint in All Colors (Red Set Glow, My Baerry, Pink on Point)

wardah-everyday-cheek-and-lip-tint-red-set-glow-my-baerry-pink-on-point-review-esybabsy

I found this Etude House Soft Drink Tint when I was browsing through local online store in search for their Dear Darling Water Gel Tints, and decided to purchase this instead, cause I'm a sucker to cute packaging. I'm not quite sure when this line was launched but I believe it's part of their latest summer collection.

Review: La Tulipe Cosmetiques Lip Tint Semua Warna (Cotton Candy, Red Vevet, Peach Cake)

la-tulipe-cosmetiques-lip-tint-cotton-candy-peach-cake-red-velvet-review-esybabsy

Coba ya, gue tanya, jawab aja dalem ati tapi... Lip tint merk Korea. No!

Because, you have to support your local brand, right?

Review: RiRe Lip Powder in Hot Plum (No. 02)

rire-lip-powder-review-in-hot-plum-esybabsy

Gosh, finally I feel like making a review in English again. I'm sooo missing doing this. And this time I'll be reviewing RiRe Lip Powder, which is kinda interesting since, as the name implies, this is actually a lip tint in the form of powder.

rire-lip-powder-review-in-hot-plum-esybabsy

PACKAGING. This lip tint comes in a cute tiny bottle made of clear plastic and a black cap that looks like errr... an elf hat, or mushroom, or... whatever you name it. It also comes in a black and pink carton box with a small opening on the front so you can actually see the powder shade.

THE APPLICATOR itself has the shape of a doe-foot, it's soft and flexible, but the handle is too short and that black mushroom hat kinda blocks my view when applying the product onto my lips, so it doesn't allow for an accurate application. Also the opening on the bottle was too small for the applicator. I had a difficulty getting it out of the bottle and afraid the applicator tip will slip off of the wand and trapped inside the bottle for the rest of its miserable life.

THE TEXTURE itself is obviously powder, pink powder to be exact. At first I wasn't quite sure how on earth the powder will stick to my skin, but as you apply it onto your skin it magically turns into something watery, liquidy (is it even a word?), or more like gel. When first applied, it looks a bit uneven, but wait for a second and it'll turn into an even matte result as it dries. As I apply it, I don't smell any weird scent whatsoever, just a hint of chemical smell but will fade eventually.

THE SHADE. Since this is a lip tint, I will apply it in two ways, full lips and gradient. On my lips, this Hot plum turns into a strawberry milk color, but when I apply it full lips I have to put on several layers to get an even result, the color also turns into a bright pinkish red. So I think the shade is buildable.

THE PIGMENTATION is low to medium. I won't put my hopes too high in term of pigmentation. This is a lip tint, please. At first, building one layer only is easy. But to get an even result as you build more layers is a challenge since it tends to be patchy.

This lip product stays pretty well on my skin for the whole day, although it really depends on how you eat or drink. Since this is water based, it feels a little bit drying on me. So moisturizing in advance is a must. It will also leave a mark on your coffee cup but just in tiny bit, but the good thing is, I don't feel that tacky feeling like you have when wearing a matte lip cream (duh!).

Overall I am not so sure what to name this product. If it's a lip tint, it doesn't really tint your lips because you can still take it off with makeup remover for the most part. Do you get it? But I think this is a good try if you get bored with some common lip tint product.

Review: Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint Pack (Sexy Red, Bubble Pink, Virgin Red, Pure Pink, Vivid Scarlet, Lovely Peach)

It seems that lip tattoo has become a trend nowadays. Although I'd prefer to wear matte lipstick, but I don't mind trying out new things. The only eligible brand I know that launch such product is Berrisom (please corrct me if I'm wrong) and I feel so lucky to have such a generous online store sending all six shades to me for review purpose.

Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint Pack is basically peel-off lip stain, means you obtain the colors on your lips by applying the product onto your lips and peeling it after several minutes. The set that I got was packed in a black carton box without individual box. Each product itself was infused in a squeeze plastic tubes. No such things as seal was found. The only seal I could find was a tiny silver tape on each tube which can be easily torn. But as long as you find a super clean tube on the inside, you'll now you have a brand new product
.

THE APPLICATOR has a quite big hole and the its angled surface was meant to make the application process easier.

I really can't read Korean, but at least we know they have 15 grams of products and PAO (Period After Opening) of six months. So it's better to recycle it after that given time.

The directions of use was also printed at the back of the carton box and you'll definitely understand even if you can't read Hangul, but I feel like creating of my own. ^_^

Directions of use:
  1. After moisten your lips, apply an appropriate amount of product onto your lips. Make it as neat as possible.
  2. Let it dry for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. Peel it off carefully.
  4. And voila! Your lips change color!

Upper: First applied
Bottom: Peeled off after 15 minutes

THE TEXTURE was some very thick colorful gel. The thicker you apply, the longer it will dry as well as the more stain you'll have. Each of them has that fruity scent depending on each name. What really scares is that they are awfully sour. I didn't intend to taste them, but you will, unintentionally.

APPLYING this product is a bit tricky since the hole on the applicator is quite big. Until now, somehow, I still can't manage to do it neatly. For those who have thin lips will find it harder to apply. Applying this using tools won't give much help since the gel will dry and stuck on your brushes/tools. Also you really need a lot of product to cover your entire lips, so considering each tube has only 15 grams of product, I'm sure these will be quickly discharged.

Another importance notice is that, NEVER ever apply this onto your chapped lips as the peeling off process will be hurt since some of your lips will also be peeled-off. Ugh!

Okay, so before wo move on the swatches on my lips, this is my actual lip color. It's light colored with a small amount darkness around the edges. The result might be different on those with darker or lighter lips.

Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint in SEXY RED

SEXY RED might have the darkest gel color and packaging but once it peeled-off the color changed into some berry pink. It's not quite bold in real life.

***

Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint in VIRGIN RED

VIRGIN RED is a very pretty pure red and the peel-off result is also a very nice bold red, like it's your natural lip color.

***

Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint in BUBBLE PINK

BUBBLE PINK is will turn your lips into fuchsia.

***

Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint in PURE PINK

PURE PINK might like like peachy orange when wet, but will turn into a nice soft pink once it's peeled-off.

***

Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint in VIVID SCARLET

VIVID SCARLET is a dark orange. This color is actually very bold. Just as bold as the Virgin Red.

***

Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint in LOVELY PEACH

LOVELY PEACH is the lightest color. Your lips will changed color into a light orange, as if you just squeezed an actual orange onto your lips.

***

Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint is never a lipstick product, it's meant to give just a slight tint on your lips, as if it's your natural lip color. That's why the result are ALWAYS sheer.

THE LONGEVITY was said to be 12 hours, but it doesn't turn out that way on me. The color vanished just after about 6-8 hours. Of course I also eat during that time. So, the 12 hour longevity might be achieved if you don't eat, drink, nor lick your lips.

THE DRYNESS was also quite bad. I have to add another layer of lip balm afterwards, or else, at the end of the day, I'll find my lips chapped.

So overall, Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint is quite interesting. I used to cringe with the whole peel-off cosmetics concept, but once I try I kinda like it. The only thing that bother me is the 15-minute waiting time and the dryness, but overall I like the result.

You might consider buying this lo lighten up your actual lip color which are maybe quite dark, maybe you get tired of priming your lips with lip pencil or concealer. This could be another option.

Review: Etude House Dear Darling Tint (No. 02/Real Red)

Apa kabar?

Today I'm gonna show you one of the newest member of my make up collection:

Tadaaa!

I got this from winning a lip art contest held by Anggie and Lina a few weeks ago. There are some ofther beauty stuff I got in a whole package. It was a massive one I got so excited when receiving it. Actually it was the very first time I won something. LOLs.

Anyway, the review of each prize will be up one by one. But first, lemme talk about this babe first, kay.

The whole packaging is all plastics with transparent bottle and metallic pink cap. You can see through the bottle without opening it. It's plastic sealed by the way, so you can tell whether they're still brand new or used already.

There are 4 variants available:

No. 1 Berry Red
No. 2 Real Red
No. 3 Orange Red
No. 4 Vampire Red

I got mine in No. 2 Real Red

This is a typical doe-foot applicator with a pretty pretty long wand.

The shade of Real Red is not a true red for me, it's more like red with orange undertone. The consistency is runny with a strong fruity scent that smells nice at the beginning. Because overtime I found the smell is more and more disturbing. Very strong. ANd if you lick it (accidently or purposely), there's a hint of a sweet and bitter taste. Just like tasting food coloring.

It is water based lip tint, so I'm pretty sure this kind of lip tint will make my lips dry, so moisturizing is highly recommended, at least for me.

***

To see the swatch on my lips, I'll show you in this pictorial of how to use this for your everyday make up routine:

Prepare your lips.
Moisturize it with lip balm. You can add some lip concealer if you want to, which I chose not to.

Apply a small amount at the inner part of your lips like this.

Using your finger, dab the liquid slowly to blend the lip tint with the warmth of your lips.

The step is actually done here. But for a more 'catchy' look, you can do this:

Just put the lip tint to the whole part of your lips using the applicator. Simple, right?

And, this is how it looked like under natural lighting.

 ***

COLOR (4/5)
Very pretty! It can really brighten up your look in an instant. I think the shade No. 2 is the most natural result among all four since this is the natural lip color of most people. Just like I said, it's red with orange undertone, but the color is more like red rather than orange.

FINISHING (5/5)
Since it's a lip tint, it doesn't look glossy, creamy, nor matte. It's absorbed by your lips just like that, so what other people see is your red natural lip color. Great, isn't it?

FORMULA (2/5)
It's drying my lips although I put moisturizer in advance, maybe becasue it's water based. I'd say oil-based lip tint works better on me.

LONGEVITY (2/5)
Average, or rather poor. It'd only need less than two hours for me before the color's gone. IDK, maybe because it's sweet, I licked my lips a lot. LOLs.

PRICE (5/5)
The price is budget friendly. Many online stores would offer it from about IDR 50K to IDR 70K (USD 5), it may varies depends on the store. So make sure to browse enough.

Btw, I used to review similar product with different shade:
